RANGERS are still in the Cup …

Sorry. Infantile, I know, but I spent all day yesterday praising them for their Uefa Cup exploits so today I’ll just go back to basics: Two domestic trophies - two Sundays - two sellik exits. Ye have to larf!

Sod it - Rangers can go into our replay with Dunfermline having absolutely no fear that a sellik cup win on the last day of May will put a dampener on any title-winning celebrations which might take place at Ibrox earlier in the month. there’s no exuse for us not winning the Treble now but I’d rather we united with Boavista in trying to ensure celtic’s season ends trophyless. Translated, that means our priority is still the Championship - The Treble’s not as necessary as it was at 6pm tonight.

Barry was sent off today - deservedly so - and Claudio Caniggia scored our equaliser, meaning he’s scored on each of our four visits to East End park this season. We missed a couple of sitters in the seond half and Dunfermline’s goal involved a blatantly off-side pass but, in the end, a draw was about right.

A draw … as in the draw for the semi-final of the Scottish Cup … as in Guess who ain’t in it??!! Heh-heh!

Look, troops - this is getting silly - I’ll come back with a full match rant when I’ve stopped laughing.
