Post-Cup Final Quickie …

Yes, it was laborious. But, ultimately, we were victorious. And The Rangers, once again, are GLORIOUS.Okay, a three or four goal victory against Dundee would have made the Scottish Cup final prettier. But the main thing for Rangers was to seal our seventh domestic treble.
In fact, the stodgy, unspectacular manner of the victory proved just how far we’ve come under McLeish. Our players, if not injured, were clearly drained. Last week’s title shoot-out was the main reason for this. However, we must also remember the 4-0 thrashing of Kilmarnock and the 2-0 win at Tynecastle in the previous weeks.
In short, our lads have already given blood for the jersey this month.
They’ve worked themselves to the point of exhaustion to bring that title home. Against Dundee, in soaring temperatures, they won because when it counts they now simply don’t know how to do anything else.
