And we’ve just drawn them in the first round proper of the UEFA Cup.

Norway here we come.

Same auld scenario - we’ll be firm favourites but one slip against a fit, well-drilled bunch of Scandanavians (plus, no doubt, the obligatory un-heard of South Koreans and Brazilians which seem to feature in every European side these days) and we’re out, to much humiliation.

Molde are a hardy outfit (did they not used to be merged with someone else?) but I did manage to overcome them on a regular basis when I was taking Odd Grenland to the Norwegian Double and the Champions League final every other season on my Sony Playstation.
