Agrees with Sumus Populi Eck white on blue kills my eyes, blue on white would be easier on the eyes. in firefox you can go into the view menu and select the page style option and set it to no page style which switches the page to black on white….only way i can actually read anthing on here

If the colour scheme nips your eyes, just copy the entire page (ctrl+A on windows) and paste it into a text editor or blank email or word document or…. you get the picture; black on white.

Personally I like it the way it is.

Now I’m about to limp roon tae Coopers for a jar - cannae make it any further as one of my hoop loving mates booted me a cracker at fives.

Eck,much as I love your writing, white letters on a blue background does my eyes,do it the traditional way,big man, black on white, it works for me everytime.

And now back to football, my old man took me to see Rangers lose to Fiorentina 2-1 in the Cup Winners Cup at Ibrox, We then lost the second leg 2-1 in Italy.

In 1972, I was a both legs v Bayern Munich and travelled to Barcelona to see us beating Moscow Dynamo.

I want to be there at Manchester(not counting chickens) so that I can say I have been to Rangers 3 appearances in European finals. So big man, help me get a fucking ticket!

Now,begging aside,have you noticed the coincidences, Fiorentina, Bayerm Munich and not Moscow Dynamo,obviously, but Zenit. Unbelievable!

How good were we last night, awsome, we were ,not boring, tell all the Tims you know, we were awsome and there is more to come.

Just so proud today. There’s a lot less celtic tops down here than normal and a few more bears out in theirs :)
I’ve always been a big fan of Walter but even I am amazed by how much he’s acheived this season. At the start of the season All I wanted was to close the gap on celtic, pick up maybe both cups and qualify for the Champions League but what’s happening now is amazing just… amazing. To compete in THAT Champions League group and then to qualify for a UEFA Cup semi-final is great, to do it with a squad that cost around £25 Million in days where Portsmouth spend £6mil on 1 Championship striker and have him on the bench the entire season… well, with all respect to Levein and McGhee, there’s only one true manager of the year, whatever happens for the rest of the season.
To take us to where we are now from where we were last January is nothing short of miraclous. Walter has taken Le Guen’s squad and transformed them with a net spend of around £3 Mill and remember he never had the services of Bardsley, Martin or Stevie Smith like Le Guen had and also had to replace Prso, Klos and Rae at the end of last season. Let’s hope we hear no more booing between now and the end of the season.

I don’t care what dietary supplements celtc players take…but at best, it’s mildly humorous…if somewhat culturally inaccurate. Koreans like canine meat…not Japanese. Darche’s response to the monkey chants from the Sporting ultras showed real character and humour…and that was a far more legit instance of racism. But your right about SW’s goal. Effin magic…watched about 20 times now on YouTube. Stevie Davis was brilliant last night…so composed, skillful, aggressive, tireless and a legend in the making. The whole team are bringing out the best in each other. You know the best thing for us and the worst thing for the tallies? We’re underdogs. We’re still not respected in European circles. That ensures we stay grounded and hungry for more. That and we’ve got Lee McCulloch to beat the shite out of them. 8-)

I would cut the head off any Celtic fan who had such a banner about a foreign Rangers player.

I have just been shot down in work for pointing it out and been told that it was “just a joke”.

Added to this I was told: “why should you worry, you’ve been made welcome in our country”

Off work today myself so I had a couple of celebratory light ales last night and enjoyed an extra couple of hours in my scratcher this fine morning, my pal texted me to say that is called a Lisbon lie-in!
Rangers played so well last night, tactically superb and with a huge dose of ‘get intae them’ thrown in, perfect.
Savour this victory, savour that Rangers are in the Semi’s of a Euro trophy, savour that it’s no fluke. This doesn’t happen often, it’s only the 2nd time in my life and I’m not called young by anyone anymore. No more worrying, no fretting about players out or formations or having to many matches to play because we might wait a long time for it to happen again. Bask in it’s warmth, smile like a lottery winner and no words of complaint or concern until after Sunday.
